CAMPING
We always try to make camping at Syke Farm Campsite a laid back and relaxing experience. The campsite has slowly evolved over the last 40 years from a basic field accommodating an occasional backpacker through the summer months, now being a prominent tourist hotspot popular with walkers and holiday makers.
We have spent the last couple of years making some improvements to the campsite, yet we are still trying to keep the back to basics feel that everybody loves.

We have space on our campsite for around 50 tents and space for about 40 cars in the car park. If you book online we will ensure that you have a place to park your car, however you choose where you would like to pitch your tent. If you decide not to book, we do usually have plenty of space although there will be some occasions where we do fill up and there is no space as we do fill up quickly. ​
Since the very beginning of our campsite, we’ve been proud to support Duke of Edinburgh Award groups. We believe it’s a wonderful opportunity for young people to explore nature, develop life skills, and enjoy the outdoors.
During busy periods, these groups do visit the campsite. While their leaders are always present to supervise, some guests may find the groups a little louder than they would like. If you have any concerns or would like to discuss alternative dates, please don’t hesitate to get in touch before booking. We’re always happy to help ensure your stay is as enjoyable as possible.
