OUR YURT'S
About our Yurt's
Our Yurt's are situated on Syke Farm Campsite, in the village of Buttermere, furnished to a high standard and will sleep up to 4 people with stunning views over the beautiful Lake District scenery. Both Yurt's are 16ft wide and are tall enough to stand up inside.

We do try to provide everything you may need to make your holiday as relaxing as possible, however here are a few things you may need;

FACILITIES
We have a new compost toilet, located just outside the Yurt's.
An under cover Kitchen area located 10- 15m from the front of your Yurt.
All the main facilities at Syke Farm Campsite are located about 150 - 200m away;
We have a main toilet block with hot showers, (coin operated, however tokens will be provided) toilets and sinks.
There is another small bothy building with a washing up area (cold water) a toilet and a shower.
Parking is about 150m away from the car park and each Yurt will have an allocated parking place (please inform us if you are bringing an extra car).

Just a little extra info.
As standard, the following beds will be made up as follows depending on the size of your group.
2 guests = double bed
3 guests = double bed and single camp bed
4 guests = double bed and camp style bunk bed ( can be seperated if needed, please add to notes when booking)
Please note: The Yurts are situated on a working campsite, although they have their own separate area.
We do have a strict No noise policy after 11:00pm so that everybody can enjoy the true quiet of the countryside, earplugs will be provided for any rare occasion there is noise from any fellow campers/ glampers or even that noisy sheep in the field next door.
